As we go through our daily lives, thinking of our feelings, our duties, our friends, our family, our health issues, etc., etc., etc., we sometimes forget about the same things that the survivors of 9/11 are dealing with, along with the loss of a loved one.

In the past two years I have had my share of tragedies, problems and issues, but comparing those to what those families of over 3,000 people lost, my problems seem miniscule.

You gave me food for thought today (Sept. 12th). I will never forget where I was or what I was doing on 9/11/2001. I will never forget our "angels" or their loved ones. We must keep the spirit burning. And, when I think of the marines coming home...or going back... I'm reminded of the difference in the reception Viet Nam vets received and the lesson we, as a country, learned from that.

I just goes to show, we're never too old to learn something important or to be reminded to thank God every day for what we have and to ask blessings for those who don't have our freedom!
