Wedding Scriptures
The choice of wedding scripture allows your beliefs to be
shared with your guests. When choosing scripture, consider these general
guidelines to help choose appropriate passages.
Keep the passage to minimal length, but filled with the meaning you desire.
Do not limit yourself to passages that specifically relate to one topic; find
some passages that have important meaning to you. Your clergy may allow
modification of certain passages. Try to choose a passage that will be
easy for the reader to read if someone other than the clergy is reading it.
Let the reader practice the passage before the wedding day. The following
are passages you may want to consider using. Have fun in choosing the
appropriate scripture for your wedding. Please drop us a line if you have used
